How Does It Work | ||
A black supply tube carries water from your outside tap around the system. The supply tube comes in 10,15,25,50 and 100 m coils which you cut to appropriate lengths and join using straight connectors, 'T' connectors and elbow connectors, to get around corners and other obstacles. It needn't be visible - you can bury this tube up to 5 cm underground, or hide it under a mulch or greenery. You should be able to run up to 50 m in a single run of supply tube or multiple 50 meter runs. In many instances two 50 meter runs can be achieved from a single tap. |

| If you need to run two or more runs then these can be automated using a multi port timer, this allows for each of the different ruts to be controlled independently. This means that you might want to water your grass for 5 minutes and your greenhouse for 10 minutes. The Claber Duplo is a dual port timer or the Orbit Yard timer is a dual port timer that can be upgraded to support upto 4 ports. | |||
